A good start!

This could be a pretty badass game...I think the controls are a little awkward...instead of using the arrows to move, try using the W,A,S and D keys. That way you can get to the gun a little easier when you use space. Or just change the gun button as well. Just a suggestion. I think you could definitely polish this up a little. But good job overall.

TheComet responds:

I know, I may change the sword's moving completely since the enemies walk into the sword and die, lol.
I'll probably use that idea, I'll most likely make the sword stay with the mouse but you have to press a key to swing it (violently), and I'll probably make the shotgun the End key or CTRL :)
I may make a Laptop friendly version so people with laptops(there are more than I expected lol) can play without the awkwardness of using the mouse area.
Thx for the review.
To respond to my other reviews in one reply, this game was mildly rushed in a sense, and somewhat lost it's touch, but it's considered Xiao Xiao anyways. I'm making a true Xiao Xiao game with the Retarded Animal Babies, nearly identical to Xiao Xiao #6(I beleive that's the game) except it has a larger variety of attacks and such, plus it's somewhat humorous.

Not a bad idea

The different outcomes help keep the game moving...but it definitely needs more graphics. The concept is cool...just needs a better presentation

Asvegren responds:

In the sequel (IF there will be one) there will definately be graphics.

One Word....

Fan-fucking-tastic.

I love it.

Like a mixture of Speedy Gonzalez and Sonic the Hedgehog! And the music is great, it's perfect for a video game!

Cool!

Nice game you got there...kinda like Dance Dance Revolution! I would make the challenge increase a little more between levels; a lot of the time it seemed that it wasn't very different from the previous level. I like how you added more keys to the mix over time and also how you judged accuracy. Very cool. I'll wait for the sequel!

Nice...very nice

I tip my hat to you. This is fantastic. I like Tyson's Ear Bite move. Nice job!

Good start....

But this isn't really 3D, it's just a bunch of incoherent pictures. Make it so we can actually see where we're going. And don't just put up random boxes, make it a little more interesting than that. You have a good idea; just gotta put in the work to make it look tight.

potbellybob responds:

Yes, it is really 3D. Although I am a beginer in flash (believe it or not) I did not put up just random boxes. I knew that I couldn't have too many places to go, or else the file size would exceed 5 megs. I had an image in my head, then tried to make it with Swift 3D. Most of the time I succeed, others I just try something different.

I could really love this game....

This is something I really could get addicted to! I'm not sure why, but it reminds me of GTA3 and Vice City. The only thing, which you already know, is that damn window focus problem. I'm mentioning it just b/c it's taking away from the game soooo much. Even if the Flash movie were wider it would be better. I tried going to your site to get to the downloadable version, but the site wasn't coming up. Anyway, it's still a great piece of work. Any suggestions on resources to make games like this? I'm interested...

Is this complete?

What's up with the sudden stop of the game? I tried it several times and it always did the same thing. I never even got to play anything. Try again...

Better than some....but

What's up with the giant list of instructions at the beginning? Like I want to read all of that! You should work some of that into the game or have a brief tutorial explaining what everything means...that would help a bunch. Keep it up though, it has the potential to be much better.
