I was wondering when this would come out...

I love the RPS-25 game! Not that anybody will play it with me....

A great example of creativity blended with insanity!

Awesome!

I've seen games that are sort of the same style as this, but this one is really well done! Nice pacing...it gets you used to the controls easily! I'm sure everyone who reviews this is saying, "More! More!", but I really could see some sort of development further into the "Arcane Castle", like the character could pick which section of the castle he wanted to recapture next. Just to give it more of a feeling that you're traveling through areas of your own choice, instead of just running forever with no end in sight. Although I do like the constant running, it obviously gives it an edge of excitement, which is what makes it fun!

Nice job! This game was inspiring!

I was planning on having a little introduction animation and ending animation, maybe even a bit inbetween levels, but by time I finished the game part of it, I felt a bit impatient. Also, i just wasn't sure how much an intro or ending would add. I tend to skip them when i play flash games.

A good concept!

I only played the game for a sec but I really liked the idea. Reaction time seemed to be a little difficult right pff the bat, so it got annoying starting over and over. I would pace the difficulty a little bit, make it easy to click the right areas at first, then reduce reaction time gradually. Improving the graphics would allow the player to get into the game's story a little bit better too.

Other than those comments, keep working on this because it could be pretty cool! I gave you a 4/5.

Nice!

I love new twists on old games! This definitely makes you take a new approach to doing well at Pong.

However, I don't know what to say about improving graphics and sound. I know you're keeping true to the original, but of course Pong isn't that interesting.

I like the concept though!

Put a little more effort into this.

I'm all for exploring and figuring things out when it comes to Flash projects, but come on, there were things on there that offered no instruction on how to see the scripted effect. If you want everyone to enjoy these, just dumb it down for more of us and give a brief instruction on what to do on each "slide".

YAY!!!

I love it...but I knew I would

This has a lot of potential

I thought this was really fun to play. I like the whole concept of gaining ground from cloud to cloud as you go, plus you have a cannon that could that could be used for all sorts of things like combat. You could have destinations as well. I'm sure this was a lot of work, and I like what you've done. I can see this becoming a much more involved and really fun game. Nice Job!

Sometimes simplicity iskey. But ill keep what you said in mind when i decide to make another version of this.

A couple of things:

If you're going to make something "interactive", meaning you can click on it, take time to make sure it's interesting. Things like Maggie's hamper door opening or a light turning on are a good idea b/c it makes you click everywhere, but it really doesn't add much to the work overall. That's really just a nit-picky thing though.

Make the arrows throughout the house clickable, instead of the space next to the arrows. That's kind of confusing. People naturally want to click on the arrows to move since they're there.

The To-Do list is a good idea, why not take it a little further and make it a required checklist? Make the whole thing into a scavenger hunt game, where the user has to find all the items or click all the items to get the special extras. That might be cool, just a thought.

Despite my criticisms, I thought this was done very well and it's pretty clear you put a lot of work into this. I liked it and I'm looking forward to the Powe Plant version!

TrueDarkness responds:

Yea I see what you mean, about the interesting stuff, I should add more sounds, you know, wav files, cause those are what really make the game enjoyable. I am going to make simpsons power plant interactive so you can definatly look foward to that. And next time I will make the arrows clickable. Thanks for reviewing!

Yes!

I've often thought about how cool it would be to make a game out of this movie. I love the Streets of Rage graphics! I'm sure I'm not the only one who has said this, but you gotta make more!

I like the way you've presented this so far, but it would be neat to see more of the movie elements in any further versions of this. Like using some of the music ("Little Green Bag") or sound clips from the movie.

I think a whole bank robbery game would be tight. Hope you continue to build on this flash game! Nice Job so far! I gave you a 5 for encouragement but keep working on it!

This is a neat idea!

There was a point where I was screwing up orders that I know I had correct. Then I looked at other people's reviews and realized that I probably wasn't putting the items in the bag in the correct order....yeah....a pizza and a shake or a shake and a pizza...does it really matter? Might want to think about tweaking that part of the code...

Anyway, this was a cool game...I'd like to see a sequel for sure!
